On deck: “Das Aufruhr,”* yes. I am working on it, but it may take a back seat to a short called, “New Licks for Old Soaks,” which is just a barroom sketch…; it takes place in a real Poughkeepsie, NY bar called Mulligan’s Irish House during a thunderstorm. There is no plot and nothing of consequence happens.
*With “Das Aufruhr,” I am quickly losing patience, as the subject matter is young urban ninnies with cellphones, and the longer I draw them, the more I grow to hate them. According to Time Magazine, the protester is “Person of the Year” (2011). That may be so, but in my animation, the protester-ninnies will be stomped by horses.
