Music for trapeze artists? I have listened to “Cimbria 3,” “High Tea with Magellan” and “Duff,” Byrne’s album performed on a toy piano (a Schoenhut?). So far, this is my favorite. On what medium was this originally recorded? Tape? It sounds like tape, and I like it. Byrne’s compositions are a little creepy, with a haunted playroom feel. I am betting she would have made an interesting live performer.
Any other posthumous releases slated?
More releases? I’m afraid not. Thank you for listening.
